Many would say that it is my I.Q., or perhaps the sum total of the money I have in the checking account, but no, it is the amount of weight that I have lost since March 1st.
Sure, not a huge amount by any means, but good enough to begin to plant the seeds of confidence that I can add much more to that total, and good enough considering I still struggle with eating after 8pm. My solution to that problem was to gear my habits around it, to make sure if I was going to consume more then, I would need to consume less earlier. So far it seems like it may be working.
For the past month I have been experimenting with different amounts per meal, different low calorie meals, foods, etc. I think I am ready now to begin in earnest. That means putting a more firm cap on calories, a ceiling that none dare pass. I can do that as long as I allow snack time after 8 and include some favorite foods. And if it is passed, not to worry, no need to slide into oblivion, I have that worked into "the plan" too.
So, tomorrow I begin in earnest and will give it a go for 4 weeks, the end of which will be the one year anniversary of my blog. Wrapping up the year on somewhat of a positive note would be extremely nice. If all goes well after the month, I will add another, and another...
Three great new blogs on my list to read!
Snackie's World! , Weigh Down! and Do you have that in my size???
Some health stories this week....
Childhood obesity to soar by 2010
First, I'd like to thank the academy...it is an honor to be nominated....LOL. Thanks for the kind words :).
I think your loss is great; in my humble opinion down is down no matter what.
Good luck on your 4 week lose-a-thon!
We need sponsors ;)

I have read that childhood obesity is frightening people everywhere. Yikes. Great job on the weight loss, BUT way more importantly, on the eating style change. You are finding ways to modify your diet without being drastic about it!
