This is where I am going to keep track of what I eat, when and maybe feelings associated with it. At some point I will probably go back and figure the calories and nutritional info. It is a work in progress...suggestions are good!
March 2- 2006: egg beaters with sundried tomato, spinach, a slice of fat free cheese, 1 veggie patty /
March 1 - 2006: yogurt, cream of wheat / veggie burger on whole wheat toast and apple / red beans and rice / can of chicken soup,wheat thin snack packs, oreo cookie snack packsmall bowl of chex mix, 1 beer, a bowl of organic cereal with fresh berries.
Note: I have stopped recording my indigestibles for quite some time, it was getting rather tedious and the holidays were fast approaching, I did not want any paper trail of the damage! I have been making a conscious effort in this new year to eat more fat free foods, more fruits and veggies, but have not yet limited total calories. I am using the record below to compile metabolism rates and eating patterns. To be continued....

Afternoon 4 pm - veggie burger on whole wheat bread/1 oz chips.
Evening 7:30 pm - Ala Napoli (spaghetti, mushrooms, eggplant, onion) / 3 slices bread / salad w Italian dressing/ 3 sm. glasses of wine

Yes, I drink a lot of coffee. But it is instant which is about half the caffeine of drip. I drink more when I don't get much sleep, last night about 5 hours. Tea would be OK too.

I am finding that I am not very hungry for breakfast or even lunch because of my large evening meals and snacks. Lunch becomes an "event" or treat to break up my day, so my choices are not usually good, 2 pieces of fruit would probably be enough for lunch. The whole wheat pasta is tasty and good for you, but I could have cut the amount in half and still not have been hungry.

the oatmeal was good and filling, but an hour later was tearing me up! not super hungry at noon, just looking forward to eating the chicken pot pie. The vegetables good and filling, I only ate the hotdogs because I was watching football, and also because I did not want my son to eat that kind of bad stuff, so I did. Sounds crazy right?

I was not hungry at all last night, from 6pm on, just bored. I also was not stuffed after each meal, they were smaller.

Almost all the food I ate this evening was because if emotions. I was angry, depressed, not really that hungry.

Afternoon 12pm-can of mushroom soup, 5 saltines, 1/2 can peas. (TF)/ 3pm cheese & tomato sandwich w/mayo + 1oz bag of chips.
Evening 4pm-1 cup of grapes/ 7:30pm-Chinese takeout, qt of noodle soup (TF!) 9pm-9 squares of Bakers chocolate (630)
I did not eat these chocolates because I was hungry, we were watching the new Willie Wonka and I wanted to have chocolate, this is why I am fat!
Thursday - 11.10.05 (227 lbs@34% body fat)
Morning 5am- 6oz. orange juice / 6:30-coffee/7:30- bite of kids pancakes/8am-coffee/8:30-coffee/9:30- apple/
Afternoon 12pm-spicy ramen noodles/2 pm- coffee/ 4pm- apple and handful of grapes
Evening 7pm-2 small potatoes and peas (smart balance low calorie butter)/ 9pm-hot chocolate/ 10pm-cup&1/2 of raisin bran and 1 cup Horizon Organic skim milk.
