Today I made an appointment with the doctor. I thought that, given my age, fat content, and goal to run in a marathon, and trying to lose weight, it would be a good idea to talk it over with him, show him what I am doing and plan to do and get his feedback. Dropping dead while training for the marathon would be a bummer. My appointment is for Monday at 9:30 am. They are going to do a cholesterol check, which means no eating after midnight the night before, I think I can handle that! By then I should have a better handle on what kind of thing I am going to be doing with the WebMd meal plan and how the FitDay.com tools will fit into it all. I think I might have to re-do the interview with WebMd because they have me eating 3600 calories, which I know is not right from the food journal I kept a few months ago. They ask you questions like how many times do you eat meats for breakfast? How many times do you eat a bagel?, things like that, maybe I over estimated that kind of stuff, because I rarely eat breakfast anyway, or it could be that I really have no idea how much crap I have been shoveling down the gullet!
I would like a little feedback from you guys on my "jog log" vs "activity journal". I have changed it to an activity journal because I do more than just running at the track from time to time. If you go to "Recent Posts" you will see a back dated post on July 1 called "activity journal", compare this to the "Jog Log" (click the pig), which one do you think is better? I even color coded the activity journal! I know you guys won't really be checking into this area too much, but if you were, which one would be better for you? Which version would you get the most use out of? And no, I don't want to hear "it's really up to your preference"! Be assertive!
Gotta get back to "work", have a (choose one): great, relaxing, adventurous, meaningful, efficient, loving, working, sexy weekend! ( I know I am).
